Whereas most private schools around the world tend to charge high tuition rates or receive funding from the government, the Kutumikia Foundational Schools understood that charging families tuition would not be plausible. Considering the mission of service and desire for community integration we prioritize, we have developed a self-sustaining, community-oriented platform to support the school financially.

Our goal is to have a team of finance experts staffed within each school. Although financial conditions vary across countries greatly, close interpersonal interaction gives our experts the chance to comprehensively understand the financial market and make socially-conscious decisions from that knowledge.

Our model connects the family and community together. Because of the conscious choice to seek out student families for financial assistance for their business ventures, we reach all generations of the community. The school thus becomes the heart of the community and it can focus all its efforts on building a stronger community.
